What is Meditation and What are the Benefits? FEATURE ARTICLE
Compassion enables us to look non-judgementally upon the lives of those less fortunate and understand that there is truly no shame in needing help. Many people respond to worldly suffering by questioning the worth of the sufferers or making erroneous assumptions about individual responsibility. The ability to express sympathy, as well as empathy, forms the basis of the compassion that inspires us to examine the numerous blessings we enjoy with the intent of using our resources to aid others. Rather than question those seeking aid have fallen on hard times, we strive to do all we can to ensure that their basic needs are met and to improve the quality of their lives we can help others to today when we draw upon our inner reservoir of compassion.
